Law Of Attraction, Decisions And Intuition
From time to time we all find it difficult to make decisions – especially the really big, life-changing ones. Indecision brings with it a state of suspension and our lives go into limbo. Once a decision has been made this can be a sense of relief in itself, as at least now things can move forward and plans can be made. It is almost amazing how, with the passage of time, even the biggest decisions you have ever made can seem not such a big deal after all. In the great scheme of things even a monumental decision is not so important – things will roll out one way or another and you can turn circumstances to your advantage if you have the right attitude. The most important thing to remember is that whichever way you jump, it is the right direction because you chose it – you need to make it the right decision.
We can all use our intuition and inner feelings to help us with decisions. This is a method by which the Law of Attraction guides us towards a desired outcome. The first step is to use all our intelligence and gather all the information we can in the area of our problem and come to what logical decision we can in the face of all the hard evidence. We then need to go inside ourselves and ask the universe if this is the right decision. This may take the form of praying, or meditation, or just spending some quiet time alone focussing on the problem. It’s useful to try and get yourself into a neutral position on the issue whereby you would be equally accepting of both outcomes.
After this period of focus a feeling of peacefulness would be the result – peace in both the mind and the heart – if the decision was the right one. If the decision was not right for you at this time, you would feel what has sometimes been described as stupor – which is a confused or troubled feeling. Whichever of these it is, it is only likely to be a fleeting and temporary feeling so you will need to tune into these changes.
Using our inner feelings and intuition doesn’t come naturally to a lot of us (perhaps not to most of us), but it’s certainly something we can develop with practice to be able to benefit from it in our general lives. Intuition is one of many ways through which the Law of Attraction works to bring us closer to what we desire.
The key to this is to start small and not rely on it at the outset for some massive life-changing decision. It may be you need to find just the right new outfit for a special occasion within a certain limited budget but have been traipsing round the stores with no luck. Try sending up (even a silent) prayer to the universe, asking for what you want. It is always good practice, whatever you are asking for, to add at the end ‘this or something better’. In this way, you are giving the Law of Attraction some room for manoeuvre and you’re giving the universe the best chance of being able to respond to your prayer in the best way.
You then need to ‘listen’ for guidance. It won’t necessarily be a voice that you hear, although sometimes you may get words in your head. It could merely feelings of direction or an impulse to go somewhere. You may suddenly remember the new discount store that has just opened round the corner or something may just catch your eye in a charity shop which you could pick up for a song. Or nothing noticeable may happen on that occasion. As you have some successes, your confidence will grow and every success will boost your faith that the universe always respond to your requests. As your faith grows, so your inner voice will become stronger and be able to give you better guidance. You’ll then have a true sense that the Law of Attraction is working for you.
